Job Purpose
Working within a fast-paced environment, the job holder will support the Quality Manager in day-to-day tasks, actively investigate and resolve customer quality queries, facilitate continuous improvement teams, and identify trends in quality issues before they escalate.
Role Responsibilities
* Creating and updating reports as requested by the Quality Manager
* Managing internal and external OFI
* Supporting Quality Manager in leading and hosting BSI and Customer audits
* Collaborating with Management and Operations Teams to implement continuous improvement actions
* Chasing progress on CAPAs and OFIs
* Managing the internal audit system
* Supporting calibration system management
* Managing supplier complaint system in Q-Pulse and providing metrics
* Investigating customer queries
* Making quality decisions in the absence of the Quality Manager
* Attending site quality meetings and producing minutes
* Facilitating Continuous Improvement Teams, including RCA tools
* Supporting QM with internal CAPA system management
* Managing and logging QC team leave and hours
* Developing leadership skills through mentoring the Quality Manager
Quality System
* All functions performed according to ISO 9001:2015 standards, site policies, and relevant work instructions
* Ensuring integration of PS9000 into the Quality System with the Quality Manager
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
* Minimum 2 years in a senior supervisory or entry management Quality role
* Knowledge of relevant standards (not essential)
* Experience in manufacturing/production environments, with industry standards knowledge
* Experience in change management
* Supervisory experience
* Knowledge of GMP
* Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
* Customer relations skills
* Data analysis and presentation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
