Sales and Merchandising Role
As a Sales and Merchandising professional, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the market.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Merchandising professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and developing relationships with key retailers, generating additional space for our brand and client's products, and presenting the benefits of stocking our products to retailers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Additionally, they will have a proven track record in hitting and exceeding sales and merchandising KPIs.
* Indirect selling and merchandising in the Convenience channel
* Generating extra space for the brand and clients' products by increasing core range distribution
* Presentation and detailing the benefits to retailers of stocking the clients' products
The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing full journey plans on a weekly basis, placing FSUs and Point of Sale to drive incremental sales, and meeting set targets for POS placement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Sales and merchandising experience in the FMCG sector (preferable)
* A proven record in hitting and exceeding both Sales and Merchandising KPIs
* Excellent verbal communication and personal organizational skills
* The ability to overcome objections and possess strong business acumen
