Job Title: Senior/Principal Acoustic Consultant
Location: Dublin
Salary: €60,000 – €75,000 + Benefits
A leading consultancy is seeking a Senior/Principal Acoustic Consultant to join its expanding team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious consultant to step into a senior role, taking responsibility for high-profile building acoustics, environmental noise, and infrastructure projects, while supporting client growth and mentoring junior colleagues.
As a Senior/Principal Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and delivering technical projects, developing strong client relationships, and contributing to the long-term growth of the Dublin office. You will work on diverse projects across commercial, residential, and transport sectors, providing expertise in sound insulation, room acoustics, and noise and vibration assessments.

Responsibilities
* Leading building acoustics and environmental noise projects from inception to delivery
* Preparing and reviewing technical reports, ES chapters, and client presentations
* Providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior staff
* Liaising with clients, design teams, and local authorities
* Supporting business development, bids, and proposals in Ireland and the UK
Skills and experience
* 6+ years’ experience in acoustic consultancy
* Proven expertise in building acoustics and environmental noise assessment
* Knowledge of standards such as BS4142, BS8233, and BB93
* Proficiency in modelling software (e.g. CadnaA, SoundPLAN, Odeon)
* Chartered status with the IOA (or working towards) desirable
* Excellent communication and project management skills
