Location: Dublin / Cork / Limerick / Galway. Business Area: EY Data, Analytics & AI Ireland. Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time. Responsibilities
The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same. You’ll think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop solutions for complex problems. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines, build relationships, and identify opportunities for clients to benefit from EY’s expertise in other areas. Occasional travel may be necessary to meet with key clients.
* Lead diverse teams with varying Data and Analytics technologies.
* Lead end-to-end project delivery for data and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
* Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
* Oversee project budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
* Adapt leadership style to fit team, client, and cultural needs; anticipate risks and escalate issues as appropriate.
* Engage with key stakeholders across client organisations to understand data needs, communicate progress, and ensure alignment with goals.
* Coach and develop junior team members and foster a positive learning culture.
* Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams across industries to transform client business using analytics.
* Create innovative insights that add value to clients and broader society.
* Champion operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives; drive projects to completion with high-quality work.
* Contribute to the development of the wider Data & Analytics team by building the brand, attending events, collaborating with internal teams, and producing thought leadership.
* Establish and strengthen internal and external relationships; identify opportunities for EY to incubate or deliver new solutions and services with guidance from senior leaders.
Qualifications & Skills
Essentials
* Completed degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD).
* 5+ years of Data Analytics experience, or similar in a consulting environment, with a focus on project delivery and management.
* Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
* Proven ability to supervise and develop others, communicate effectively, manage client expectations, and deliver on timelines.
* Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients.
* A passion for continuous learning and skill development.
* Analytical mindset with ability to apply new techniques to deliver insights and solve problems.
* Professionalism in diverse, evolving client environments.
* Working knowledge of analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik; programming languages SQL, Python, R; cloud platforms Azure, AWS, GCP.
* Experience across data analytics lifecycle (Data Strategy, Data Manipulation/ETL, Data Analysis & Visualization, ML/statistical analyses).
* Experience in Agile Delivery.
