Role
This job specification outlines the general responsibilities associated with the role of Sustainability Graduate for the GE HealthCare Cork Site. The site is focused on continuous improvement of all work processes and practices and all colleagues are required to be flexible in this regard. This means that they may be asked to carry out additional work functions that are not described in this specification but are directly associated with their role. This position is responsible for supporting the site’s Environmental, Social & Governance strategy, reporting to the Site ESG Leader.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Member of the Site ESG team to drive site's goal of energy, waste & water and carbon reduction.
* Maintaining of the site Roadmap for Energy Reduction and Decarb, waste & water reduction.
* Carrying out weekly energy review.
* Managing Weekly ESG Site Comms.
* Developing Opportunities with Support functions.
* Supporting the Management of the Water Stewardship program & ESG Frameworks (Elements 05, 06, 07 & 08).
* Maintaining Sustainability Dashboards, EnMS & EnPI Reporting.
* Supporting the sites sustainability related NC & CAPA Management.
* Driving training, awareness, and recognition program around sustainability.
* Supporting site Sustainability Audits.
* Managing ESG Doc Control and Doc Updates (Energy Review, Energy Manual, Sustainability Program).
* Consolidating bills and update Global Reporting Tool.
* Maintaining ESG Smartsheet and folders.
* Liaising between social groups and develop portfolio.
* Managing ESG concerns and ATS’.

Qualifications and Skills
Principal Qualifications/Skills And Work Experience Required
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or associated Discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or Life Sciences.
* A qualification in environmental sustainability or energy management.
Competencies
* Strong communication, relationship building, leadership and mentoring skills.
* Proven ability to manage and deliver results in a highly fluid, interactive matrixed environment.
