The Role As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will play a key leadership role on site, coordinating all activities from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities Overall management and coordination of site activities and personnel Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and programme requirements Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, and programme targets are achieved Ensure adequate labour, plant, and materials are available to meet programme demands Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all health & safety procedures and accident prevention measures are implemented and enforced Ensure compliance with all quality procedures, inspections, and control documentation Chair and attend regular site meetings with the project team and subcontractors Monitor progress against programme and report regularly to senior management Manage snagging and handover processes, ensuring timely completion of outstanding works Liaise with design teams, consultants, and client representatives to resolve technical and coordination issues Drive cost control and efficient use of resources on site Ensure full compliance with Safe Operating Procedures, site policies, and statutory requirements Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential projects, including timber frame, traditional build and RC frame.
