Our client, a large building contractor, requires a Site Manager for a commercial building project in Clonmel Co. Tipperary.You will be a boots on the ground site manager ensuring programme of works continue in the right direction, managing the men on site, direct and indirect. Working alongside the PM and Senior Engineer.You must have experience managing similar construction projects in Ireland or the UK to be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring efficient daily operationsMaintain accurate site diaries and manage workforce levels to meet programme targetsWork closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standardsImplement and monitor Health & Safety and Quality Management SystemsIdentify opportunities for process improvement while maintaining safety and complianceRequisition materials and ensure deliveries meet specification and scheduling needsOrganise and attend site meetings to facilitate clear communication across all stakeholdersRequirementsMinimum5 years’ experiencein a Site Management role, ideally with amain contractorRelevant qualifications inConstruction Management,Engineering, or a related trade backgroundProven experience delivering projects from inception through to completionStrong leadership skills, with the ability to drive performance and manage subcontractorsSelf-motivated with a high level of initiative and attention to detailExcellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skillsDeep technical and practical knowledge of the construction industry and regulatory environmentAn attractive remuneration package is available for the successful candidate.If this seems like the role for you, please apply below!
