Responsibilities
1. Lead the delivery of mechanical engineering design and coordination on multiple projects.
2. Represent the business as the Project Engineer at design and client meetings.
3. Oversee project delivery from design through construction, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
4. Coordinate mechanical designs with other disciplines and external consultants.
5. Manage project resourcing, budgets, and schedules.
6. Mentor junior engineers and develop the team's technical capability.
7. Uphold company standards, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.
About You
You'll thrive in this Project Engineer role if you bring:
8. A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
9. 5-10 years of experience in mechanical building services design.
10. Proven background in delivering commercial office projects.
11. Strong understanding of relevant Standards and RIBA design stages.
12. Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams and managing budgets.
13. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
14. Initiative, technical confidence, and the ability to work autonomously.
15. Familiarity with electrical, fire protection, and public health systems (advantageous).
