Group Sales Manager - Leinster based Hotel Group
We are currently recruiting a Group Sales Manager for a Leinster based Hotel Group to plan and manage sales activities within the Group. This role is based on a property in North Leinster and comes at an exciting time during the expansion of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and direct day-to-day operation of the sales function to ensure maximum revenue and profitability and provide potential and existing clients with the highest level of sales service.
* Develop and oversee all sales and business development activation to ensure ROI.
* Identify key competitors and carry out regular competitor analysis, monitoring their performance, rates, and sales activity.
* To be fully aware of the main market developments and other factors that would influence business or create favourable market conditions.
* Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for each property for rooms, events, leisure, F&B outlets.
* Develop loyalty programs and corporate rate packages for repeat business, including meeting room bookings, accommodation, and leisure facilities.
* Create and manage sales campaigns for each outlet to increase sales, with an emphasis on cross-promoting various services.
The Person
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hotel industry sales management within a group or cluster of 4* hotels, ideally in the Leinster region.
* Extensive sales management experience required within the national conference and events markets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively across departments.
