Head of Data Governance – Financial ServicesLead and mature enterprise data governanceExecutive leadership and ownershipReports to the Chief Data OfficerJoin a well known financial services organisation building a modern Data Governance capability to strengthen how critical business data is managed, protected, and leveraged across the enterprise.This is a strategic, hands‑on leadership role where you will define and own the long‑term vision for data governance, data quality, master data management, and data protection frameworks. You’ll lead the Data Governance function, working closely with senior stakeholders across Investments, Product, Risk, and Technology to embed strong governance practices and ensure regulatory alignment across the organisation.In this position, you’ll oversee data quality frameworks, master data governance, data acquisition processes, and data loss prevention initiatives within a modern cloud data environment leveraging Snowflake, Informatica, Jira, and AI/LLM technologies. You’ll bring strong leadership and governance expertise, ensuring data is treated as a trusted strategic asset supporting business performance and compliance obligations.You will:Define and execute the enterprise Data Governance strategyLead and mentor business data stewards, data operations, and data quality teamsDrive data quality, master data management, and data protection across the organisationSkills / Experience:Proven leadership experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality within Financial ServicesStrong expertise in data governance frameworks, Snowflake, Informatica, SQL, and cloud-based data platformsKnowledge of GDPR, MiFID II/MiFIR, PRIIPs, and broader data governance best practicesSalary / Remuneration:Up to €130,000 + bonus and more benefits.
