Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Determine annual sales targets by implementing marketing strategies and analysing trends and results.
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Sell to existing and potential direct accounts and provide technical sales support to Internal Account Managers to facilitate in closing orders or to add value to the selling process.
Continually develop knowledge of the business climate and competition for defined geography and accounts.
Develop, maintain and execute a territory plan.
Maintain data relative to accounts and activities and document customer interactions via CRM system.
Requirements
Familiar with various field concepts, practices and procedures.
Rely on extensive technical and sales experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way.
Qualifications
Level 8 degree qualification in Life Science or relevant commercial discipline required.
Technical knowledge (Pharmaceutical quality & compliance)
