Staff Grade AudiologistThe purpose of this post is to discharge the duties of a Staff Grade Audiologist.Essential Criteria:Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etcEligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:(A) (i) Hold the two year full time Audiology awarded by theNational University of Ireland, University College Cork at Level9 on the Quality and Qualifications of Ireland (QQI)framework, which includes a licence to practice clinicalaudiology in IrelandOR(ii) Hold an equivalent qualification in Audiology awarded inanother jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health(An Roinn Sláinte) (See Note 1* below)OR(B) Hold the BSc (Hons) in Audiology awarded by Athlone Instituteof Technology awarded in 2016 only, at Level 8 on the Qualityand Qualifications of Ireland (QQI) framework.OR(C ) Candidates currently working as an Audiologist or AudiologicalScientist within the Irish Health System must hold:(a) a qualification equivalent to (A) aboveOR(b) The British Association of Audiologists ExaminationsParts 1 & 2 (or its predecessor)OR(c) A qualification equivalent to (C), (a), (b).AND(D) Candidates must provide evidence of audiological competencerelevant to the scope of practice required for the role. (SeeNote 2* below)AND(E) Candidates who did not complete the required studies throughthe medium of English must demonstrate their proficiency inthe English language through the submission of certificationfrom the International English Language Testing System (IES TS).
