Job Title: Systems Engineer
This position involves overseeing the deployment, renewal and maintenance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) equipment. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure governance compliance and represent the organization at European-funded meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing annual program expenditure monitoring
* Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including colleagues and local authority staff
* Contribute to risk management processes for Intelligent Transport Systems
* Maintain oversight of the Asset and Fault Management System
* Represent Network Operations on internal Data Protection and Cyber Security Committees
The successful candidate will have a degree in Engineering or a related field and experience in managing ITS projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong technical skills in engineering and project management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with European-funded projects
