The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programmes to ensure compliance with legislative regulations.

They will support the site Director of EHS in ensuring that the site is fully compliant with HAS, OSHA, EPA and corporate requirements.
">
This role involves working closely with other EHS specialists across the site to promote a proactive safety culture and reduce the risk of accidents and incidents.

Main Responsibilities:
">
* Develop and monitor environmental, health and safety programmes
">
* Support the site Director of EHS in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
">
* Perform risk assessments and implement associated risk controls
">
* Collaborate with other EHS specialists to foster a safe work environment
">
* Conduct inspections and internal audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective measures
">
* Lead EHS projects to completion and provide support during accident investigations
">
* Maintain accurate administrative records and develop training programmes in environmental, health and safety practices
">
* Provide guidance and support to colleagues and service providers on EHS matters
">
* Ensure effective procedures are in place for reporting and investigating EHS incidents
">
">
Key Qualifications and Skills:
">
* Relevant third-level qualification in Environmental Science or another relevant EHS discipline
">
* Minimum five years of career experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in Pharma, Med-Dev, Food and Beverage Production
">
* Proven experience in Pharma or BRC regulated manufacturing is essential
">
* Self-motivated individual with excellent organisational and time management skills
">
* Strong compliance mindset regarding company and legal requirements
">
* Able to become familiar with all site processes and procedures, and possess technical competence to understand and review safety-critical and environmental-critical aspects of each process/procedure
