We are currently recruiting for the role of Night Manager to join our successful team at the Clanree Hotel, a well-established 4-star hotel in Letterkenny.
The Successful Candidate:
Will have significant prior experience working in a similar role within a hotel environment (experience is essential)
Will be professional, highly organised, and possess excellent leadership and customer care skills
Will have strong knowledge of hotel night operations and the ability to manage the hotel independently during night hours
Must be a team player with the ability to lead and motivate staff in a busy environment
Will be computer literate, with experience in hotel systems; knowledge of the Opera Reservations System would be a distinct advantage
Will have fluent English and excellent communication skills
Will be capable of handling guest queries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally
Will demonstrate a high level of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail
The Role:
Oversee the full operation of the hotel during the night shift, ensuring all departments run smoothly
Act as the main point of contact for guests, ensuring exceptional service at all times
Supervise and support night team members, including reception and night porters
Carry out night audit procedures and ensure all financial transactions are balanced and recorded accurately
Manage late check-ins, early departures, and reservations as required
Ensure all security procedures and fire safety checks are completed and documented
Conduct regular patrols of the hotel and ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property
Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively
Prepare reports and communicate relevant information to senior management
Assist with set-up requirements where necessary and support other departments during the night shift
