Our client is a global leader in providing software solutions and IT consulting services for the airline industry. They are building the Limerick based team and seeking a German speaking Business Analyst to join and help shape the next generation of aviation software products.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you'll collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to define, document, and translate business requirements into smart, scalable IT solutions. The ideal candidate is analytical, communicative, and comfortable working on complex systems that power mission-critical airline operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather, analyze, and document functional and business requirements.
* Translate requirements into clear documentation: use cases, flow diagrams, functional specs.
* Analyze business processes and workflows; identify areas for optimization and automation.
* Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of specifications.
* Support testing activities: create test cases, track results, manage UAT.
* Assist in the implementation of new features and provide post-deployment support.
* Communicate with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
* Occasionally travel for project delivery, client meetings, or workshops (as needed).
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and simplify complex systems.
* Familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance practices.
* Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms is a plus.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills – comfortable engaging with both developers and executives.
* Fluent in English and German (C1 level or higher).
* Airline industry knowledge is beneficial but not required.
* Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
