The Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in delivering end-to-end HR support across ICS Medical Devices. This position partners closely with leadership and employees to ensure compliant, inclusive, people-focused HR practices that support business growth in a regulated medical device environment.
The role combines operational HR excellence with strategic input, covering employee relations, performance management, Employee Engagement, HR compliance, and continuous improvement of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
* Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, probation, performance reviews, promotions, and offboarding.
* Act as a primary HR point of contact for employees and managers, providing expert guidance on HR policies and procedures.
* Ensure accurate and compliant HR documentation and employee records.
Employee Relations
* Lead and support employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, and absence management.
* Coach managers on effective people management and conflict resolution.
* Ensure consistent, fair, and legally compliant decision-making
Performance & Talent Management
* Support the delivery of performance management frameworks and annual review cycles
* Partner with managers on development plans, succession planning, and talent retention strategies
* Support learning and development initiatives aligned with business needs
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
* Support hiring managers with recruitment processes, including job design, interviewing, and onboarding
* Contribute to workforce planning and headcount reporting
HR Compliance & Medical Device Environment
* Ensure HR practices comply with employment law, internal policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO, FDA/MDR awareness)
* Support HR audits and inspections as required
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
* Contribute to HR projects such as policy updates, engagement initiatives, and process improvements
* Support the development and implementation of HR metrics and reporting

Experience & Qualifications
Essential
* 5 years+ experience in a HR Generalist or Senior HR Advisor role
* Experience supporting managers across multiple HR disciplines
* Strong working knowledge of employment law
Desirable
* CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 (or equivalent)
* Experience within a regulated industry (medical devices, pharma, healthcare, or similar)
* Demonstrated competence in HR systems, ensuring data integrity, effective reporting, and streamlined HR operations.
