Job Description
As a senior project engineer, you will lead the delivery of high-profile projects for key public and private sector clients across Ireland and beyond. You will be part of an integrated team responsible for delivering engineering services to clients, working on multiple projects concurrently, and providing technical input to cross-sector multidisciplinary internal project teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Report to Line Manager/Business Unit Leader
* Work on delivery of multiple projects concurrently
* Provide technical input to cross-sector multidisciplinary internal project teams
* Prepare technical reports and effectively communicate outputs to clients
* Further develop and broaden the technical capacity of the flooding and drainage team
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Level 8 degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related discipline
* Membership of a professional body such as Engineers Ireland or Institution of Civil Engineers
* Desire to develop to Chartered Engineer Level
* Project-focused, proactive and independent, with the ability to provide a supporting project management role
Excellent working knowledge of flood hydrology and hydraulic processes is required. Experience in open channel and network hydraulic modelling (Infoworks ICM) and model applications to real-world problems is beneficial.
