Key Responsibilities
* As a Loss Adjuster, oversee claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring a customer-focused experience throughout the process.
* Engage effectively with customers and third parties, providing clear communication and promptly addressing enquiries.
* Utilize negotiation skills to achieve optimal outcomes in claims settlements while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining client relationships.
* Prepare and deliver case decisions and solutions to customers in line with agreed processes and levels of authority to meet business objectives.
* Manage customer interactions efficiently, courteously and in a timely manner; escalate to more senior or qualified colleagues as necessary.
* Participate in surge event management to provide vital support during critical times.
Requirements
* 3+ years Loss Adjusting experience
* Dip LA, or progress towards ACILA/ACII is desirable but not essential
* Experience dealing with brokers and a wide variety of customers
* Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Full driving licence required (field-based role)
Regulatory Requirements
* If this role is defined as a "controlled function" by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011, any appointment will be conditional on meeting Fitness & Probity standards.
