ASL Airlines Ireland is pleased to invite applications for the position of Line Maintenance Manager.
Purpose of the position to oversee the detailed running of the ASL Airlines Ireland hangar, base and line stations throughout the ASL Airlines Ireland network
Key Accountabilities:
* The Line Maintenance Manager role is an EASA and UK Part 145 Nominated Person position.
* Lead, motivate and manage the ASLI Part 145 line maintenance team.
* Ensure that the Safety Management System procedures are complied with and foster a just culture within the Part 145 organisation.
* Develop and maintain the MOE and associated Line Maintenance procedures and processes to ensure sufficient control of the line maintenance operation.
* Manage the Scheduled and Unscheduled Line Maintenance assigned to the Part 145 through effective management of the production planning and maintenance teams.
* Ensure that production planning activities are performed such that aircraft, facilities, maintenance data, equipment, spares and manpower are available when required for all scheduled maintenance requirements.
* Ensure that sufficient qualified and competent personnel are available for the required work.
* Ensure that sufficient facilities are available and maintained for the performance of maintenance.
* Ensure that all required tooling is available for the work to be performed and that all tooling is maintained to the required standards.
* Ensure that all stock, that has been entrusted to the Part 145, is stored and controlled in accordance with the required standards.
* Ensure that all Part 145 personnel comply with all training requirements under the relevant regulations
* Ensure that all maintenance performed by the Part 145 is carried out to the required EASA and national standards.
* Ensure that AOG aircraft are returned to service in an airworthy condition in the most time effective manner taking into account all relevant airworthiness requirements and utilising available resources.
* Shall maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.
Qualifications:
* EASA B1 and or B2 Part 66 license or equivalent or relevant aeronautical engineering degree.
* Proficient in MS office suite, particularly MS Excel.
* Proficient in English
Experience:
* 7 years experience working in an Line and/or base maintenance environment
* 2 years experience supervising or managing a team
