Job title: Site Manager (Conservation) Location: Dublin Contract: Full-time, permanent Package: Competitive salary (DOE) + vehicle/allowance + expenses & benefits The Role We are seeking a Site Manager to take the lead on a landmark conservation project in Dublin central.
Youll join an established contractor, known for their expertise in renovation and conservation projects.
Key Responsibilities Own site delivery: daily planning, look-aheads, logistics, permits, and site set-up.
Implement and enforce Health & Safety (RAMS, inductions, toolbox talks, audits).
Manage specialist subcontractors (stone, brick, sash, roofing, metalwork, glazing, scaffold, access).
Drive quality control: mock-ups/samples, ITPs, inspections, snag/close-out, O&M collation.
Interface with conservation architects, client reps, structural engineers, and local authorities.
Lead progress meetings, RFIs, technical submittals, and change control.
Manage procurement & materials (lead items, heritage products, approvals, traceability).
Maintain programme & cost awareness; report KPIs, risks and mitigations.
Ensure respectful operations in live/occupied environments (noise, dust, public interface).
About You Previous site management experience in restoration, conservation, or complex refurbishments (heritage/protected structures a plus).
Confident with temporary works, access planning, and urban site logistics.
Proficient in MS Project (or equivalent), Excel, and digital QA/snag tools.
Excellent coordination and communication skills; calm, organised, detail-driven.
Safe Pass and relevant tickets (MEWP/Scaffold inspection/Temporary Works awareness) advantageous.
