Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pizza Chef to join our dynamic culinary team in the heart of Dublin 2. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience crafting authentic pizzas, demonstrating a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary pizza-making techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pizza Preparation: Craft a variety of pizzas from scratch, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
2. Dough Management: Prepare, proof, and hand-stretch dough to achieve desired texture and flavor.
3. Ingredient Selection: Source and select high-quality ingredients, maintaining freshness and authenticity.
4. Oven Operation: Operate and maintain wood-fired, gas, or electric pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
5. Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience as a Pizza Chef in a fast-paced environment.
2. Culinary Skills: Proficiency in dough preparation, pizza assembly, and oven operations.
3. Creativity: Ability to develop new pizza recipes and adapt to seasonal ingredients.
4. Time Management: Efficient in managing multiple orders and maintaining quality under pressure.
5. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers.
