Audit experts will be responsible for planning and executing high-level audit engagements. This includes identifying and assessing key risks, developing comprehensive audit programs, and conducting fieldwork to ensure audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing audit strategies to meet client needs.
* Conducting risk assessments and audit program development to identify areas of improvement.
* Supervising and guiding junior audit staff to ensure the quality of work completed.
* Reviewing and providing constructive feedback on work completed by team members.
* Communicating effectively with clients throughout the audit process, addressing their inquiries and providing updates on audit progress.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in auditing, hold a relevant accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA), and possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in Irish GAAP, auditing standards, and IFRS. They should also have experience working with a diverse portfolio of clients, be capable of working independently, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
