Organisation: Dublin Rape Crisis Centre
Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (DRCC) exists to prevent harm and heal the trauma of sexual violence. We provide a range of specialised services, including our National 24/7 Helpline, face-to-face therapy, accompaniment and advocacy, and education and training to those supporting survivors.
We are now inviting applications from committed and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our expanding Therapy Team.
About the Role
As a Psychotherapist with DRCC, you will provide face-to-face counselling and psychotherapy for those who have experienced sexual violence, childhood sexual abuse, rape, or sexual assault. This role involves
working directly with women in custody in the Dochas Centre
, delivering high-quality therapeutic support in a sensitive, trauma-informed way.
This is a permanent, part-time position (3 days per week):
* 2 days per week based in the Dochas Centre
* 1 day per week based at DRCC Head Office
About You
We are seeking a qualified Psychotherapist who brings professionalism, empathy, and a strong commitment to trauma-informed practice.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum: Degree qualification in adult psychotherapy
* Full accreditation with IAHIP or IACP
at the time of application
* Experience working therapeutically with adults
