Data Analyst – Reporting – 10-month ContractDublin / HybridSalary up to 90k per annum.We are hiring a contractData Analyst (Reporting)to join a forward-thinking organisation leveraging automation, data science, and advanced analytics to streamline financial processes and achieve a "Zero Day Close."This role sits within the Accounting and Finance Systems team, collaborating closely with business partners to design insightful reporting solutions, identify opportunities for automation, and enhance decision-making through data. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, a deep understanding of reporting frameworks and data modelling, and a keen interest in developing expertise within cloud-based ERP and analytics platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with internal stakeholders to identify, define, and refine business requirements, translating needs into effective, scalable reports and dashboards.Design and maintain reports, data models, and analytics frameworks, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with business priorities.Work with datasets across finance, accounting, and connected enterprise systems to analyse performance, trends, and KPIs, turning data into actionable insights.Build strong cross-functional relationships with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to drive reporting initiatives forward.Develop technical expertise in enterprise analytics and reporting tools, supporting ongoing enhancements and process improvements.Conduct detailed process reviews to identify automation and efficiency opportunities within financial reporting workflows.Participate in and support system testing, UAT, and change management processes; ensure requirements are met, and documentation is maintained.Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and QA artefacts to support ongoing analytics development.Serve as a data-driven advisor to senior stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and promoting data governance best practices.Key Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.5+ years' experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence, ideally within a Finance or SaaS environment.Strong understanding of data modelling, reporting tools, and visualisation best practices .Hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP reporting tools (e.g., Advanced, Matrix, or Composite reporting) or similar enterprise analytics frameworks.Exposure to SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and automation is desirable.Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences.Experience with UAT, QA, and change control processes.Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently and cross-functionally.If this sounds like you, contact me today or apply directly.**No sponsorship offered and must be willing to work 3 days in the office**
