Senior Planning Consultant - Dublin
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected planning consultancy in their search for a Senior Planning Consultant to join their expanding Dublin office.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-regarded practice that delivers innovative and commercially focused planning solutions across sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, healthcare, and renewable energy.
The Role
As a Senior Planning Consultant, you will:
Lead on a variety of planning projects from inception through to delivery
Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and appraisals
Provide expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders
Contribute to business development and client relationship management
Mentor and support junior members of the team
Engage with local authorities and third parties to deliver successful outcomes
About You
An RTPI or IPI accredited degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning (or related subject)
5+ years of post-qualification planning experience (preferably in consultancy)
Strong working knowledge of Irish planning policy and legislation
Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills
Commercially minded with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
A proactive, ambitious individual keen to develop their career in a growing consultancy
