INFORM3 are recruiting for a leading construction contractor who is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join its project team in East Cork. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated safety professional with experience in pharmaceutical construction environments to contribute to the successful delivery of high-profile projects while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance.
Health & Safety Advisor Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's Health & Safety Management System on site.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, client requirements, and industry best practices.
Assist project management teams in promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities.
Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing reports and corrective action plans.
Monitor subcontractor compliance with site safety procedures.
Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation.
Liaise with clients, site management, and regulatory bodies as required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site safety performance.
Health & Safety Advisor Requirements
3–5 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction sector.
Previous experience working on pharmaceutical or highly regulated construction projects is essential.
Relevant Health & Safety qualification (Degree, Diploma, or equivalent).
NEBOSH Cert
Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
Strong reporting, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Full driving licence.
