About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for caring and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Assistants at River House. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to residents with their daily needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This may include assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily activities, while promoting independence and social engagement.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Deliver compassionate care to residents, upholding dignity and respect at all times
* Assist residents with dressing, personal hygiene, mobility, and daily activities
* Foster independence while providing support where needed
* Administer medication after receiving appropriate training
* Support residents with social and recreational activities
* Help residents exercise their rights and make informed choices about their daily lives
* Maintain accurate records both written and digital
* Adhere to safety procedures and NISCC Code of Practice standards
* Attend training and staff meetings to enhance your skills
* Collaborate effectively as part of a supportive team to deliver exceptional care
