About The Role
Silver Stream are now looking for an experienced, self-motivated Accountant to aid in the development of the Finance Department.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly Management Accounts including supporting analysis and reports for review with Management Team.
* Responsible for the preparation and review of Balance Sheet and intercompany reconciliations for group companies.
* Preparation and posting of month end journals.
* Work as business partner for certain care homes. This entails preparing reports for commercial and operations teams as required to support decision making.
* Maintain Fixed Asset registers.
* Treasury Management - weekly & monthly Cashflows.
* Prepare Statutory returns as required and reconcile to Balance Sheet e.g. VAT and PAYE.
* Ensure all month-end deadlines are strictly adhered to.
* Play a part in the year end audit liaising with external auditors on matters to year end accounts. Help in the preparation of statutory accounts.
* Support the CFO and Head of Finance on company related finance projects and help standardise and automate company processes through identifying process issues and improvement opportunities.
* Other ad hoc duties as required by the finance department.

Requirements
* ACCA, ACA, CIMA Qualified.
* Preference for industry or healthcare sector experience.
* Ideally 3 - 5 years' PQE.
* Advanced MS Excel.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge.
* Financial systems and ERP knowledge.
* Must hold a valid working permit.
