Project Manager for Processing Equipment
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the coordination and leadership of projects associated with new product introductions, process improvements, automation, aseptic processing, and new processing equipment with facility/utilities modifications. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that projects meet agreed goals/targets on time and within scope.
Responsibilities:
* Safely coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams for the delivery of processing equipment based on planned timelines and scope.
* Develop user requirement specifications.
* Select vendors and complete vendor evaluation matrices.
* Conduct project management & design review meetings.
* Work to industry standards such as ASME BPE and relevant ISPE guidelines.
* Coordinate processing equipment installation and services hook up.
* Lead project team participation in factory acceptance testing programs.
* Coordinate all equipment documentation requirements.
* Commission equipment and provide engineering support during qualification.
* Collaborate with senior managers and system owners/project teams.
* Handover training and coordinate O&M manuals, spare parts, and PM schedules.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in an engineering or equivalent discipline/experience.
* Experience working in biologics, pharmaceuticals, or medical device industries, minimum 2-5 years.
* Proven project management experience.
* Self-starter with technical ability.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills for multi-function project teams.
* Ability to work within a team using initiative to articulate and deliver functional requirements.
* Good team leading skills and collaboration with other departments.
