Applications are invited for a temporary post of a I-C3 Venture Manager within NovaUCD.
The I-C3 Venture Partner is a highly strategic and hands-on commercial development role, integral to the I-C3 (Ireland's Chips Competence Centre) project.
The purpose and objective of the I-C3 Project is to establish Ireland's dedicated Chips Competence Centre to accelerate the commercial scale-up of Irish semiconductor deep-tech companies by providing them with access to advanced infrastructure, expertise, and critical private and public funding to strengthen the nation's and Europe's strategic autonomy in microelectronics.
The I-C3 consortium includes UCD, Tyndall Institute, MCCI and MIDAS.
Based at NovaUCD, the I-C3 Venture Manager's mission is to significantly accelerate the scaling of Irish semiconductor deep tech Startups and SMEs by driving engagement with sector and stage specific venture capital investors and promoting access to grant funding.
This requires operating as a senior advisor and deal-facilitator, building a comprehensive knowledge base of national, EU, and private investment sources and opportunities.
The I-C3 Venture Manager is responsible for the design and delivery of funding readiness programs and for actively positioning and supporting Irish semiconductor startups and SME's to successfully secure both major public grant funding and private venture capital at seed and growth stages.
The ultimate objective is to drive measurable funding and commercial growth into the sector.
Salary Range: €70,000 - €110,000 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
