Overview
Senior Social / Digital Media Executive – Spain (maternity cover). Location: Dublin, Ireland.
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Social / Digital Media Executive to support our growing social media and digital marketing efforts in Spain. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to develop best-in-class content, strengthen community engagement, and execute high-impact social campaigns. You'll play a key role in shaping our brand presence across major platforms, driving audience growth, and creating meaningful interactions with players and fans.
What You'll Do
* Support the Senior Social Media Manager in creating content briefs and managing social projects from concept through to market activation
* Proactively contribute fresh, innovative ideas and take ownership of creative initiatives
* Deliver exceptional customer engagement by monitoring social channels and responding promptly to player and fan questions, feedback, and comments
* Plan, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns to drive reach, engagement, and performance against campaign KPIs
* Develop and execute video strategies, including ideation, scripting, and coordinating post-production
* Create UGC-style videos using tools such as CapCut
* Monitor emerging social trends and platforms, providing insights and recommendations to team leads
* Maintain consistent brand tone and voice across community management, collaborating with copywriters to grow online communities
* Plan, schedule, and publish daily content across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.), ensuring alignment with weekly and monthly marketing objectives
* Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to the social media team, marketing team, and leadership
* Ensure all campaigns and content undergo rigorous quality assurance checks
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience managing social media channels in a professional setting
* Fluency in Spanish and English (required)
* Strong passion for content creation, storytelling, and sports
* Experience with short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts)
* A creative, innovative mindset with a passion for digital storytelling and community building
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and maintain high attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Video production skills are a strong plus
