Morgan McKinley are currently working with a well-established organisation in Dublin that is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support its purchasing and supply chain operations.
The Purchasing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase orders, effective supplier communication, and adherence to internal purchasing policies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Coordinate end-to-end purchasing activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and follow-up
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.
* Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order confirmations
* Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier data, and documentation
* Support supplier onboarding and assist with resolving invoice or delivery discrepancies
* Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and procedures
* Assist with reporting on purchasing activity, spend, and supplier performance
* Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and efficiency
Key Requirements
* 3+ years' experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support role
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Knowledge of purchasing best practices and supplier management
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
