For contract durations of less than 12 months, the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
The position of Senior Disability Advisor is based in the Disability Office, Student Life and Learning (SLL) as part of the student support team to provide an assisting role in the co-ordination and administration of a wide range of activities associated with the SETU Waterford Campus Disability Office and the policies of the University.
This is a diverse and challenging role requiring a high level of disability related knowledge, range of interpersonal, communication, organisational and administrative skills and high levels of confidentiality, flexibility, motivation and initiative.
The post holder will be required to provide a high level of support to students with Disabilities and to liaise with SETU internal departments, academic staff and external bodies and organisations as required.
This role will require the post holder to work primarily from the SLL office on the Cork Road Campus but also on other SETU Waterford campuses as required.
