We are seeking a committed and experienced individual to join our Board as Treasurer, supporting our mission of empowering adults with intellectual disabilities into meaningful, supported paid employment.
Through our Rising Together training programmes, we equip participants with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive in today’s workplace.
As Treasurer, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial health and sustainability of the organisation. Working closely with the Board, leadership team and company accountant you will provide strategic financial guidance, ensure strong financial governance, and support effective decision-making.
This is a voluntary Board role and an opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing financial governance and controls
Supporting budgeting, financial planning, and reporting
Ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements
Advising the Board on financial strategy and sustainability
Reviewing financial statements and risk management processes
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, and previous board experience is desirable.
