Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager
About the Role:
The role of Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager is a crucial one in our organization. This position oversees all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless processes and efficient use of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacturing Operations: Lead and develop robust business processes to improve contract site performance, assess industry trends and internal network as tools for improvement.
* Budget Development and Monitoring: Manage budget development, monitoring and reporting; create and manage contracts and agreements.
* Site Performance Monitoring: Manage contract site performance using lean tools and PDCA, lead site operating review meetings and drive improvements at contract sites.
* Project Management and Technology Transfer: Lead department-wide projects from conception to implementation and close-out, provide oversight of planning and coordination of product transfer activities.
* Contract Testing Lab Support: Manage laboratory supplier relationships, developing performance metrics and building strong partnerships with external laboratories.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Science-related field.
* Experience: 8+ years of experience in protein, API, DS, DP, or packaging manufacturing environment, 5+ years of experience working with external parties and/or leading cross-functional teams.
* Skills: Strong influence and negotiation skills, expertise in problem solving and risk-based decision-making, matrix management and organizational savvy.
