Job Title: Management Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team at Collins McNicholas.
About the Role:
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
* Support the month-end and year-end close processes, maintaining strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
* Reconcile bank statements and accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or anomalies.
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, managing cash flow and minimizing outstanding balances.
* Maintain and update accounting records and files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Assist with audits, providing support and guidance throughout the process.
* Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documentation, adhering to statutory deadlines.
* Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting activities, contributing to informed business decisions.
* Utilize accounting software for data entry and financial analysis, leveraging insights to drive business growth.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices, with a solid foundation in financial theory.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with advanced skills in financial modeling and analysis.
* Experience with accounting software is highly desirable, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical and methodical approach to complex financial issues.
