Electronics Engineer: A World Leading Opportunity
About the Role:
This exciting opportunity is based in our Galway facility, where you will be part of a growing team focused on Structural Heart Department.
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team, offering a 39 hour work week with a 1pm Friday finish.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience in electrical circuit design and PCB layout.
A background in micro-electronics manufacturing or design in a regulated industry is preferred, although candidates with medical device experience are also welcome.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing electrical issues, conducting product testing and validation, and ensuring safety and performance. Good communication and team collaboration skills are essential.
Key Requirements:
* Electrical circuit design and PCB layout expertise
* Experience in micro-electronics manufacturing or design in a regulated industry
* Medical device experience (desired)
* Good knowledge of micro bonding (Epoxy & Solder)
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Education and Qualifications:
Candidates should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3+ years of experience in Electronic Engineering.
Please note that proficiency in CAD/Solidworks tool is advantageous.
