We are seeking an experienced, organised, and commercially minded Operations Manager to support the Hotel Manager in the successful day-to-day running of our busy Harbour Hotel.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys both hotel operations and the commercial side of management, including budgeting, cost control, compliance, sustainability, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily hotel operations across Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Events.
Support department heads to deliver excellent guest service, operational efficiency, and team performance.
Assist with budgets, forecasting, payroll control, purchasing, stock management, and cost control.
Ensure strong health & safety, fire safety, and compliance standards are maintained.
Support sales, marketing, sustainability, and energy-saving initiatives to drive business performance.
Handle guest feedback professionally and support service recovery when required.
Lead, motivate, and support teams to maintain a positive, guest-focused culture.
About You
You will have:
3–5 years’ experience in hotel operations, hotel management, or a similar senior hospitality role.
Strong knowledge of hotel operations across rooms, food & beverage, housekeeping, and guest service.
Experience with budgets, payroll, forecasting, purchasing, and cost control.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
A hands‑on, proactive approach with strong commercial awareness.
Good understanding of health & safety and compliance.
Confidence using hotel systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
