Our client is seeking an experienced
Senior Quantity Surveyor
to join a dynamic team in
Charleville, Co. Cork
. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across Ireland.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead the Quantity Surveying function across multiple projects.
* Provide accurate cost estimates, cost plans, and cash flow projections.
* Manage tendering, contracts, and project costs.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design teams.
* Mentor junior QS team members.
Key Requirements
* 10+ years' experience (chartered or working towards chartership).
* Previous experience in a consultancy/project management environment.
* Strong expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and BOQs (ARM4/5 & SOR).
* Proficiency in Cubit, Cost X, and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent budgeting, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of BCAR compliance and construction methodologies.
* Full legal right to work in Ireland and a valid Irish driver's license.
