What is the opportunity?
This is an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing Manager to contribute to the long-term sourcing strategy of the Bank through the development sourcing strategies which bring value and drive procurement efficiency within the bank.
This role will be critical in managing key supplier relationships and leading on large scale supplier negations for the bank!
In this role, you will; Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies that align with the banks objectives and drive overall procurement efficiency Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to advise strategic decisions.
Manage supplier contracts to ensure strategic alignment and cost efficiency.
Support the evaluation and identification of potential suppliers that meet the banks standards for quality and sustainability.
Analyse spend data to support the identification of cost savings and drive value.
Develop strategies to maximise value for the organisation and reduce costs where appropriate (e.g., supplier consolidation and the renegotiation of contracts).
Support the development of category sourcing strategies e.g.
Banking Operations, Infrastructure, HR etc.
Be responsible for the drafting, contract discussions and management of key supplier contracts.
Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain, developing and implement strategies to mitigate these risks Ensure all sourcing activities align with regulatory requirements and internal procurement policies.
What will make you stand out?
The successful candidate will have experience within procurement, or supply chain management ideally within the financial services sector.
and proven experience managing specific categories of spend such as IT, facilities etc and for developing category specific sourcing strategies.
Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role; A professional qualification in Procurement is desirable e.g., CPSM, CIPs IIPMM Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills Essential Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience within procurement, or supply chain management Experience managing specific categories of spend such as IT, facilities etc., and for developing category specific sourcing strategies More about the team Group Procurement & Partner Management is a Bank of Ireland Group-wide function that provides Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Partner Relationship Management, Supplier Risk Management & Governance and Procurement Services & Transformation support to all Divisions and Business Units.

This job can be done anywhere in Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin to which travel will be required for in person collaboration.
Exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
