The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to‑day operations of the warehouse, managing warehouse staff, implementing inventory control systems and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Warehouse Operations Management:Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in a timely and efficient manner.Staff Supervision & Training:Manage a team of warehouse employees. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.Inventory Control:Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock audits to ensure the correct quantity of goods is available. Implement strategies to optimise inventory turnover and minimise waste or damage.Safety & Compliance:Ensure the warehouse complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Enforce safe working practices and conduct regular safety audits and training.Process Optimisation:Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes.Quality Assurance:Ensure that all products are stored and handled in accordance with quality control standards. Oversee the inspection and condition checks of incoming and outgoing goods.Logistics Coordination:Work closely with logistics and transportation teams to coordinate the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.Reporting:Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, order fulfilment, and staff productivity.
