Coach Manager – County Galway
Little Kickers is seeking an experienced, motivated, and organised Coach Manager to lead and support our team of coaches across Galway. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining in-person weekend supervision with structured weekly administration to ensure the smooth running of our programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Coach Roster Management: Prepare and update weekly rosters for our coaching team.
* Shift Check-ins: Oversee weekend classes, arriving early to check in with coaches, monitor attendance, and arrange cover when needed.
* Coach Development: Carry out ongoing evaluations, provide real-time feedback, and follow up with written guidance to maintain the high coaching standards Little Kickers is known for.
* Training & Support: Onboard and train new coaches, gather performance feedback from leads, and coordinate group training sessions when required.
* Weekly Communications: Send out class rosters, lesson plans, and personalised feedback to coaches.
* Weekend Reporting: Submit a weekend summary report after classes.
* Payroll Reporting: Track and report weekly coaching hours and payroll details.
* Team Collaboration: Join a weekly virtual meeting with upper management to review weekend learnings, staffing needs, and scheduling.
What We're Looking For
* At least 2 years' coaching experience, ideally with children.
* Experience mentoring, training, or managing coaches or staff.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to confidently interact with a variety of people (children, parents, coaches, colleagues).
* Full driving license and reliable transport (travel to weekend venues required).
* County Galway–based.

Role Details
* Schedule: Primarily Saturday and Sunday mornings for in-person class visits, plus 1–3 hours of admin tasks during the week.
* Location: County Galway, with travel between venues.
