About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Children's Malignant Haematology.
This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse practitioner to develop and implement advanced practice skills and knowledge in a paediatric haematology setting.
Key Objectives:
* To develop the job description and supporting documentation to enable the individual nurse to meet the NMBI criteria to register as a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (RANP).
* To undertake academic preparation and develop clinical and leadership skills, competencies, and knowledge required to meet the criteria to be registered as a RANP with NMBI.
Essential Criteria:
* Be a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or entitled to be registered.
* Be registered in the Children's division of the nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) Register for which the application is being made or entitled to be registered.
* Have a broad base of clinical experience relevant to Paediatric Haematology with a minimum of 3 years post registration experience in an acute paediatric haematology oncology setting within the last 5 years.
* Be eligible to undertake a Master's Degree in Nursing or a Master's Degree, which is relevant or applicable to the advanced field of practice.
