Overview
My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance & Reliability Technician to join our team in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a focus on safety and quality, and a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Work safely: identify risks and implement mitigation actions where required
* Respond promptly and appropriately to equipment failures or issues in a cross functional environment
* Record interventions, including failure codes, and provide preventative action solutions
* Execute planned maintenance routines: predictive, preventative, and calibration activities
* Complete Work Orders on time while ensuring safety, compliance, and accurate asset management data
* Provide clear written and verbal handovers to colleagues
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify enhancements to job plans and spare parts
* Support major equipment overhauls and manage vendor activities on site
* Contribute to training development and cross train colleagues
* Assist with cross functional tasks such as set up, sampling, and cleaning validation activities
* Work in teams applying Operational Excellence techniques to optimize processes
* Maintain audit readiness, high housekeeping standards, and timely completion of training
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
* Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical discipline
* 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environment
* Experience in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, or GMP facility required
* Strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability in every task
* High attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and openness to change
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver within scheduled timelines
