Responsibilities
* Scheduling of artic deliveries for the Certa network of customers, service stations and depots to provide cost-effective routing solutions, considering customer location, loading terminal and product price.
* Artic tanker and artic tanker driver compliance administration.
* Liaison with hauliers to optimise best synergies for use including back loading and preloading opportunities.
* Contact with Certa customer base, processing orders, dealing with delivery issues.
* Monitoring of product stock levels at depot locations and retail model service stations and maintaining appropriate and strategic stock levels.
* Maximise continuity of supply when presented with product shortages.
* Monitoring of haulage costs.
* Retail forecourt compliance verification.
* Provide cover of other roles and responsibilities within Operations team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
* The successful candidate is required to have supply chain qualification or relevant equivalent experience.
* CPC training/ qualification would be a distinct advantage.
* Relevant experience in a transport related role.
* Excellent geographical knowledge.
* High level organisational skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to meet strict targets and deadlines.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
