Conveniently located just 45 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from the M50, Tulfarris is easily accessible.The RoleAs Assistant Accommodation Manager, you will be a key member of the management team, responsible for maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards in line with our 4-star expectations.Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, you will support them in the day-to-day running of the department and confidently lead the team in their absence.You will oversee operational hygiene standards across the hotel, including front-of-house and food & beverage areas, while managing and developing the accommodation team to ensure efficiency, consistency, and excellence in service delivery.We are seeking a professional, hands-on leader with strong attention to detail and the ability to motivate and direct a large team.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Accommodation DepartmentMonitor room occupancy levels and respond proactively to daily business needsLiaise closely with Reception regarding room moves, VIPs, and special requestsIssue keys, room lists, cleaning schedules, and checklists at the beginning of shiftsInspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure 4-star standards are consistently metSupervise Accommodation Assistants and Linen Porters, coordinating with Maintenance as requiredEnsure maintenance issues are addressed promptly to maximise room availabilityAssist in developing and implementing departmental standards and proceduresTrain, mentor, and monitor staff performance in line with company standardsSupport recruitment and onboarding in collaboration with HRPrepare departmental rotas in line with forecasted business levelsMonitor wage costs and departmental expensesManage stock control of linen, amenities, and cleaning suppliesMinimise wastage and promote energy efficiencySupport other departments during busy periods as requiredIdeal CandidateMinimum 2 years' experience in an Accommodation Supervisory or Management roleExperience within a 4-star hotel environment preferredStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent customer service and communication skillsFluent English (written and spoken)Exceptional attention to detailFlexible and adaptable approach to workThis is a full-time permanent position.
