Position: Family medicine physician-day time job
2 General Practitioners or family medicine physicians needed to work in a Primary care centre located in the Kilkenny area ( day-time job).
Bologna Health Jobs is currently searching for 2 doctors to work at a Primary Care centre in the Kilkenny area (South east of Ireland). The Practice is currently staffed with 10GPs and they are looking to expand the service with 2 more doctors. The start date would be during the following months. There will be NO on-call requirements and training will be provided in order to help the doctor settle into the practice.
1. GP Practice (day time job):
1.1 Located in the South East of Ireland (Kilkenny area).
- Salary: Up to 140,000€ gross annual pay with the clinical indemnity insurance included or at least subsidized up to€/year. Included is also 5 weeks paid holidays.
- 40 hours work per week. Time table would be from 9AM to 6PM with no on-calls. 8-10 sessions per week. 15minutes is the average time to spend with a patient in Ireland.
- At least 1 year of employment guaranteed with a good possibility of extension.
- Relocation assistance will be provided by the agency.
- No company setup is necessary in this case as you will be employed directly by the employer on the payroll.
Basic Requirements:
- Doctors should be qualified inside the European Union as a General Practitioner. No other requirement is necessary to practice as a GP or family medicine physician in comparison with the UK where you will have to have some supervised practice before you can go into the Specialist Registrar.
- Doctors with experience of at least 3-4 years in General Practice at a primary care center in Ireland or the UK or with emergency medicine experience will also be considered for the post IF they have STAMP4 or EU Citizenship.
- Irish Medica Council Registration at the moment of application is recommended but not a must as we can help you with the process of getting registered. It is also NOT necessary to hold a specialist qualification inside the EU area as it is possible to get registered with the General Registrar if you have at least 3 years practicing medicine in the EU country where he/she recognized his/her primary medical qualification.
- The doctor will be required to have a good experience, at least, in Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Obstetrics&Gynaecology and Family Medicine.
- The level of English should be at least a B2 level with the capacity to communicate and write correctly in English. No formal qualification is required for the moment but any candidate that is NOT fluent in English will be disregarded.
