Global Medical Manufacturer - Laboratory Equipment & Consumables€30M+ Irish turnover | Expanding Irish sales teamIdeally based Galway / LimerickOpen to recent life science graduates or people with scientific sales experienceTHE COMPANY:Our client is a globally recognised medical and laboratory manufacturer with a strong and established presence in Ireland, generating in excess of €30 million locally last year. They supply a broad portfolio of laboratory equipment and consumables that are widely used across universities, R&D facilities and pharmaceutical manufacturers nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their Irish sales team with an additional hire covering the southern half of the country.THE ROLE:As Sales Executive, you will cover Galway, Limerick, South Dublin and everything below, selling a full portfolio of life science consumables into universities, research institutes, pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing facilities. You will deal with laboratory managers, technicians, heads of department and procurement teams.You will inherit an existing base of accounts while also being responsible for developing new business opportunities across your territory. This is a balanced role combining account management and new business development. You'll join an established Irish team, with strong internal support and ongoing product and sales training.THE PERSON:We are keen to speak to candidates with a scientific background - degrees such as Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Physics or similar are highly relevant, particularly if you've had hands-on lab exposure. Candidates without a degree but with experience selling laboratory products, chemicals or related technical solutions will also be considered.This role would suit either a science graduate looking to break into sales, or an existing technical sales professional looking to progress their career with a global manufacturer.
