Job Description
The Saolta University Health Care Group seeks a qualified and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager II to lead the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory team at Galway University Hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will have a strong background in cardiac nursing and experience in management or leadership roles. A Master's degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
* To manage the day-to-day operations of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, ensuring high-quality patient care and a safe working environment.
* To lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* To develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
* To maintain accurate records and reports, including patient data and staff performance metrics.
Requirements:
* A recognised qualification in nursing (General Nursing, Critical Care or Cardiac Nursing).
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a cardiac nursing role, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership position.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A Master's degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
